Pickup, Harry W. Sr., 89, of Temple Terrace died Monday (June 4, 1990). He was born in Brooklyn, N. Y. and moved to Temple Terrace from Arlington, Va., 40 years ago. He was a minister for religious education and a member of Nebraska Avenue Church of Christ. He was a World War Navy veteran and a gospel preacher for more than 60 years. He was also director of public relations at Florida College for 25 years. Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth; one son, Harry Jr., Temple Terrace; one daughter, Jeanne Zellner, Temple Terrace; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
