Mrs. Mary H. Napton, aged 84 years, died last Friday, March 4, 1932, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. H. E. Gundelfinger, at Hazelton, this county.
Deceased was born in Missouri on January 1st, 1848. Thirty-six years ago, with her husband, the late James S. Napton, she came to Idaho. Their first home was at Homedfale, in the southwestern part of the state, the family being pioneers of that section. Children of the family were also pioneers of Jerome, and in the early days, through visits to them, Mrs. Napton bacame quite well known here. Since 1919 she had made her home with her daughter at Hazelton.
Three sons and two daughters survive her: Huston, Burkley and Lanier Napton, all of Willows, California, Miss Mary Napton, of Oakland, California, and Mrs. Gundelfinger.
The funderal was held at Twin Falls and interment was at Caldwell, Idaho. |
