Gladstone's Cousing Dead
Alex Steele Passed Away at His Home in Marshall, Mo., Yesterday Afternoon.
Alexander Steele, of Marshall, Mo., a second cousin of the late William E. Gladstone, of England, whose hopeless illness was announced in The Journal yesterday morning, died at 12:30 o'clock yesterday afternoon. The funeral will be held from his late home in Marshall today. Mr. Steele's two daughters living in this city were at the bedside when the end came. They are Miss Belle Gladstone Steele, stenographer in the water works department, and Mrs. S. L. Milice. |
