    Text Southerners Wed in Salt Lake

    Wearing a smart costume suit of fur-trimmed wood brown wool, with matching accessories and a corsage of fragrant gardenias, Miss Anita McLeod of Medon, Tenn., became the bride of Lieutenant Richard E. Pigott of Milan, Tenn., stationed at the Salt Lake army air base, in a Thursday morning ceremony held in the First Presbyterian church chapel.

    The bride, who is the daughter of Mrs. William M. McLeod of Medon, Tenn., was given in marriage by Lieutenant Clark R. Morgan Jr. The Rev. Floyd W. Barr performed the ceremony. Lieutenant and Mrs. Pigott, who left immediately following the ceremony for a honeymoon in Sun Valley, Idaho, will return to make their home in Salt Lake City.

    Mrs. Pigott is a graduate of the University of Tennessee at Knoxville and Peabody college at Nashville. She is affiliated with Sigma Kappa.

    Lieutenant Pigott, the son of W. T. Pigott of Milan, Tenn., has a law degree from Vanderbilt university in Nashville. He is a member of Sigma Chi fraternity.
