Dr. E. M. Jennings, 65, lifelong resident of Menlo, Ga., died suddenly Saturday evening at 6:30 o'clock of a heart attack at his home. Besides his widow, he is survived by two brothers, H. L. Jennings, of Dallas, Tex., and L. A. Jennings, of Los Angeles; one sister, Mrs. R. T, Hassell, of Compton, Cal.; three sons, R. H. Jennings, of Chicago; W. C. Jennings, of Montgomery, and L. El Jennings, of Chattanooga; one daughter, Miss Myrtle Jennings, of Rome, Ga., and one grandson.
Dr. Jennings was a memer of the Masonic lodge and Masons will be honorary pallbearers at his funeral, which will be held today at 4 p.m. at the First Baptist church at Menlo, with the Rev. Mr. Byrd officiating. Burial will be in Alpihne cemetery at Menlo. |
