Funeral services for Calvin P. Stout, 54 years old, a livestock dealer residing at 460 North Pacific street, who died at noon Saturday of pneumonia at St. Francis Hospital, were conducted this afternoon at the Baptist Church at Caruthersville. rev. D. K. Foster, the pastor, was in charge of the rites, and burial was in a cemetery at Hayti.
Mr. Stout was born July 23, 1885, at Vienna. Ill. He was married to Miss Edith Ross at Caruthersville. the family came to Cape Girardeau Aug. 1 from Savanna, Tenn., where Mr. Stout had been engaged in the livestock business.
He is survived by his widow; two daughters, Mrs. Carolyn Armstrong of Cape Girardeau and Mrs. Marvin W. McKinney of Van Buren; a sister, Mrs. Lillie Stevens of Conroe, Tex., and a brother, Wilbert Stout. |
